MLFN Game Scheduled for Early December
The River City Gators will be playing the Island Warriors in an MLFN Exhibition game in Mesquite Nevada. This is a preseason event that will allow for "open" rosters. The team will fill the roster with veterans, prospects, and any other veterans who want to join the Gators versus the Warriors.

Date: Sat. Dec. 6, 2008
Location: Mesquite Nevada
Transportation: Individual transportation (flights, caravan, bus, ect.)
Kickoff time: 11AM

Tom Patrick Inducted into MLFN Hall of Fame Class of 2008
Head Coach Tom Patrick will be inducted into the MFLN Hall of Fame on Dec. 4th in Mesquite Nevada. The ceremony will be preceeded by a dinner and the ceremony of induction will follow shortly. This is the first honoree of the West Sacramento Wolverines / River City Gators. Others who have been associated with the organization that have been inducted into the HOF are team consultant Charlie Ruiz, formerly of the Capital City Fury, who was inducted in 2006.

In conjunction with Coach Patrick's induction the other two NCFL members to be inducted are Henry Boots James formerly of the NorCal Lawmen, who served as the team's co-owner, head coach, as well as being a prominent linebacker on defense. Also inducted to this class is former Wolverine's defensive coordinator, Al Burrell.

Team Tryouts in November
River City Gator's Tryouts will be held the first two weeks of November. Official Dates are as follows:

Cost:
$60 for all players (prospects recieve 2 tryouts and camp shirts) This is a non-refundable fee.
Players who make the team will have $50 of the tryout fee go towards their overall team fee. Check the official team site for more details.
